Founded in 1930, the Sareyyet Ramallah-First Ramallah Group is considered one of the first Palestinian scout groups. It has sought to provide scouting activities for Palestinian youth. Over time, the scope of its activities has expanded, transforming it into a community-based institution that provides services to all groups and segments of the Palestinian society.

The Sareyyet Ramallah-First Ramallah Group Collection is a collection of photographs and documents on the history of the establishment of the Sareyyet Ramallah as a scout troop in Ramallah. The documents shed light on parts of the history of the scout movement in Palestine, starting from the establishment of the Sareyyet Ramallah in 1930 until now. The collection includes applications for membership of the Sareyyet Ramallah in different periods, for males and females, internal correspondence, and official correspondence between the Sareyyet Ramallah and official departments in Ramallah and other West Bank cities. It also includes documents on the activities of the scouts and girl guide members of the Sareyyet Ramallah, such as letters about the scout trips and scouting duties that were held in the Sareyyet Ramallah, in addition to photographs of members of the Sareyyet Ramallah since its foundation until the present time.
