Ilham abu Ghazaleh is a researcher and author who was born in Yafa and immigrated to Nablus with her family. She is a graduate of Cairo University. She obtained a Ph.D. in linguistics from the United States and worked as a teacher at Birzeit University until her retirement. She is the sister of the shaheeda Shadia abu Ghazaleh. Among her most important books are “Introduction to the Language of Text Science” and “Rafrafat al-Anqaa" (The Flap of the Phoenix). She died in Kuwait in 2021.

The Ilham abu Ghazaleh Collection includes photographs of members of the Abu Ghazaleh family while they were in Jaffa and Nablus. It also includes photographs of her sister, the shaheeda Shadia abu Ghazaleh, who was murdered in 1969.
