Born in Nablus, Mohammad Risha is a poet many of whose poetic and prose texts were into English, French, Bulgarian, Italian and Spanish. He worked as deputy editor-in-chief of the (ash-Shu'ara) Magazine, which is published by the (Palestinian House of Poetry). He is the editor-in-chief of the poetry series issued by the Palestinian House of Poetry. Among his collections of poetry are "Al-Khaylu Wal Untha (The Horse and the Woman)" in 1980, "Halatun Fi Ittisa' ar-Ruh (Cases in the Breadth of the Soul)" in 1992, "Kalamu Maraya Ala Shurfatain (Talk of Mirrors on Two Balconies)" in 1997, "Kitabul Munada (The Book of the Called)" in 1998, "Khalfa Qameesin Nafer (Behind a Repulsive Shirt)" in 1999, "Haweyaton Mukhassaba (Fertilized Abyss)" in 2003, and "Atlasol Ghubar (The Atlas of Dust )" in 2004.
