Sakher Khatib is from the village of Beit Iba, located in Nablus district. He studied engineering in Germany and worked as an engineer in Kuwait and Palestine. He is a member of the Palestinian Communist Party.

DESCRIPTION
This family collection contains documents on the history of the Khatib family in the village of Beit Iba, located in Nablus district, which Sakher Khatib kept. The collection includes several land deeds and registration deeds dating back to the Ottoman, British and Jordanian periods, the papers of Sakher uncle (Abdullah Khatib), who was the principal of the Ber es-Saba' School before the Nakba, became the Director of Education in Nablus during the Jordanian rule of the West Bank, and was elected as a deputy in the Jordanian Parliament. It also includes several academic summaries drafted by members of the Khatib family and their colleagues during their studies at the Arab College in Jerusalem, several Arab College magazines, complete issues of al-Ghad Magazine, which was published by the Arab Intellectuals Association in Jerusalem in 1945, and portraits of the Khatib family.
