Mahmoud Seyam joined the Palestinian Revolution in 1968, and in 1972 he enrolled in the military aviation course in Algeria and formed with his comrades the nucleus of the aviation unit of the Palestinian Revolution. He also trained again with Palestinian pilots in Romania in 1986, joined the Air Force and worked in Libya. In 1994, he returned to Palestine and was one of the supervisors of Gaza International Airport, before he passed away in 2008.

This collection documents the study and life of Mahmoud Seyam and his rise to become one of the first Palestinian pilots. It includes photographs of Seyam during his work and studies as a pilot, in addition to family photographs. The documents include his school certificates, Air Force membership cards, military aviation certificates, in addition to an obituary poster paying tribute to him.
