BIOGRAPHY

Born in Jerusalem, Samir Oweida worked as an editor and translator in several Gulf countries. Oweida also worked for Kuwait Radio, then moved to work in the business sector in 1966. He founded the Gulf Development and Reconstruction Company (Inmaa), before he retired as a member of the company’s Board of Directors in 2011.

DESCRIPTION

The collection contains two photographs of Samir Oweida's family; one of his father during his work in the Palestine Museum of Antiquities and another of his mother with her father, Taher abu as-Saud, a clergyman in Jerusalem.
