BIOGRAPHY

Rawdat el-Zuhur School was established by Elizabeth Nasir in 1952 to accommodate the children of impoverished families, especially girls, and to address the problems of child begging in Jerusalem. The idea soon developed into a co-ed elementary school and kindergarten, and Nasir added music and art to the curriculum and dedicated her life to helping children. The school is located in Jerusalem behind the court on the Salah ad-Din Street.
