Abdel-Salam Haniyeh hails from the depopulated village of Abu Shusha, located in the district of Ramleh. He along with his family sought refuge in Ramallah. Before the Nakba, he worked as an observer at the Public Works Department in Yafa.
show more show lessThis collection consists of several personal cards issued to Abdel-Salam Haniyeh by many parties before he was forcibly displaced from his village of Abu Shusha to Ramallah. It includes a trade union work card, a membership card issued by the Arab Workers Association in Haifa, an identity card issued by the National Defense Committee of the Village of Abu Shusha, in addition to an identity card issued by the British Mandate Government in Palestine.
