BIOGRAPHY

Muna Saudi is a Jordanian sculptor and writer, who was born in Amman in 1945 and currently lives in Beirut. Saudi has held many exhibitions of her many works in sculpture and painting in the Arab world, Europe, the United States of America and Asia. She has several collections of drawings inspired by poetry, which were made as a tribute to several poets, such as the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, the Syrian poet Adonis, the French poet Saint-John Perse, and the pre-Islamic Arab poet Imru' al-Qais.

DESCRIPTION

The collection contains drawings by the artist Mona Saudi and paintings from the "Tribute to Mahmoud Darwish" Collection that she completed between 1977 and 1980. It also contains photographs taken by the director Hani Jawhariyyah and an annual calendar that includes works by various artists.
