Sharif Yousef Omar Masarweh was born in the Baqa al-Gharbiyye in 1952. He attended high school at the Boarding Orthodox School in Haifa and received a qualified teacher's certificate from the Arab College in Haifa in Arts in 1969. ÷ى the early 1970s, he took the initiative to establish the first youth house in the Arab community, which he ran for decades. The Youth House served as the cultural refuge for all classes of society in Baqa al-Gharbiyye.

The Sharif Masarweh Collection contains several photographs of the members of the Masarweh family together on various occasions, in addition to documents including school notebooks and certificates, a certificate of membership in the Workers Trade Union in Israel issued in the name of Sharif Masarweh for the year 1975, family and official letters, tax receipts, in addition to sale and purchase agreements in different periods.
