Hussein al-Mlaihat was born in Arab ar-Ramadin in 1954. He studied at ad-Dhahiriya, then moved on to study agriculture at the Agricultural Institute in al-Arroub, where he completed his studies. After that, he moved and pursued his studies at the institute’s headquarters in Tulkarm, and then worked as a teacher in ad-Dhahiriya and Arab al-Freihat before he died in 2015.

 The Hussein al-Mlaihat Collection contains documents and photographs showing different stations of his and his family's lives. The photographs vary between portraits of him and others with messages written on their back that were gifted to him by his colleagues at the Agricultural Institute in Tulkarem in the early 1970s. The documents include pamphlets for his studies, a notebook in which he recorded money gifts and debts, his academic certificates from the agricultural institutes in al-Arroub and Tulkarm, some deeds of plots of land owned by al-Mlaihat in the Arab ar-Ramadin area, official letters, and personal documents such as passports, a health insurance card and marriage contract.
