Sa'ed Hashash, a Palestinian resident of Nablus, is interested in history and documentation. He owns a private library in which he keeps many documents and books dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. He focuses in his collectables on the curriculum that was taught in Palestinian schools, and the books that were printed in Palestine or that talk about it.
show more show lessThe Sa'ed Hashash Collection displays a variety of documents, including the school notebooks of several Nablus students containing their homework and solutions to problems in chemistry, science and the Arabic language, from the 1930s and 1960s until the 1980s, documents related to the payment of income and property taxes on properties in the al-Qaisarieh neighbourhood of Nablus during the British Mandate and the Jordanian Rule of the West Bank, four textbooks and in addition to "at-Tarbeya ar-Rifiyya" Magazine in its first issue.
