A Letter from Jehad Inside Prison to Mousa Jaradat

Sent on 17 February 1994, this document shows a letter from Jehad inside the Israeli Occupation Prison to Mousa Jaradat inquiring about his well-being, congratulating him on the month of Ramadan, and informing him about a mandate they received from outside the prison, led by Abbas Zaki, to appoint a number of youth members in their town to serve as a preamble to the municipal council. This, in turn, has led to divisions within the Fatah movement inside the prison and objections from both Hamas and the Popular Front.
