"Tribal Truce Agreement", a Clipping from al-Sha'b Newspaper, 1991

Issued on 8 August 1991, this document shows a clipping from issue no. 6176 of al-Sha'b Newspaper, containing details of a tribal truce agreement following a deliberate assault on Theib Abdel-Hamid by Ismail Tafesh from the town of al-Shuyukh. In response, a delegation from the Allan Diwan of Halhul town approached the Diwan of the al-Jaradat tribe in Si'ir town to obtain an Atwa (tribal truce agreement).
