An article by Ruth Murray about the mission of the Friends in Ramallah before the establishment of the school and recalls that in 1888 an agreement was signed between the British Friends and the American Friends stating that that the British run the Friends School in Abu Rummaneh in Lebanon and that the Americans take the Friends School in Ramallah.
