Kamal Msheirfeh, Burj al-Shemali Camp, 1982
Taken in 1982, this photograph shows Kamal Msheirfeh, a Palestinian from the Burj al-Shemali Palestinian Refugee Camp whose five children were slain in the al-Hula Club Shelter Massacre in the camp during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Msheirfeh's children were identified as eight-year-old Fadwa, six-year-old Fadi, four-year-old Faten, and the six-month-old twins Firas and Ihab.
