Victims of the Hula Club Massacre, Burj al-Shemali Camp, 1982
These two photographs show a number of the victims of the Hula Club Massacre, who were all killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Burj al-Shemali Palestinian Refugee Camp in the course of the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon. The upper photograph shows shaheeda Aida al-Yousef (26 years), who was killed along with her children Nisreen, Nidal (6 years), Yumna (4 years) and Sawsan Abdullah (2 years). In the lower photograph, one can see shaheeda Su'ad Shihadeh Mar'i (24 years) along with her shaheed child Osama Hasan Abdullah.
