A Play at al-Hakawati
Taken in 1995, this photograph captures a glimpse of a play on the stage of the Palestinian National Theatre- al-Hakawati. The very year stood witness to several plays, including "Ariha ʿam Ṣifr" [Jericho, Year Zero], "al-Mʿtaf" [The Overcoat], and al-Masa' al-Aakhir [The Last Eventide].
