Found in Al Sanabel Center for the Study of the Palestinian Popular Heritage Collection, this is a colour photograph of the Mosque of Nabi Yunus (Jonah) in Halhul north of Hebron. The mosque was built in 1226 and then later renovated in 1982. With a capacity of 5,000 people, the mosque, which is managed by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, houses a shrine for the prophet Yunus (Jonah).
