Delegation of the General Secretariat of the GUPW, Moscow, 1977
The participation of a delegation from the General Secretariate of the General Union of Palestinian Women (GUPW), attending the World Women Democratic Union in Moscow. The delegation included Nehya Mohammad, Salwa Khdeira,Fathiyeh Saad al-Din, and Amal Alo. The photograph features female participants and representatives from Arabic and African women's-based organizations and in the middle stands the first Soviet female astronaut.
