"Arab Refugees", "Minority Law", Newspaper Clippings from the Jerusalem Post, February 1949
Published in 1949, these newspaper clippings from the Jerusalem Post contain two articles, the first of which is titled "Arab Refugees", written in response to Elyas Kusa's speech on 29 January 1949 during which he blamed Israel for its unfair policies toward the Arabs. In his article, the writer of "Arab Refugees" responded to Kusa by saying that the British Mandatory government played a major role in creating the Arab refugee situation and employing it for the benefit of Zionism. The second article is titled "Minority Laws", written by Elyas Kusa on 16 February 1949, in which he states that the family law and personal status of the various minorities and religious interests in the Israeli constitution are not guaranteed to be respected.
