"Discussing the Arab-Israel Exchange of Population", a Newspaper Clipping from the Jerusalem Post. 1953

Published on 16 July 1953, this newspaper clipping contains an article titled "Discussing the Arba-Isreal Exchange of Population" which suggests that the exchange of population is not practical and is popularized by landowners and those who do not wish to lose their social and political statuses in exchange of a working-class which it demands to remain with the Jews. Attached with the clipping is a letter by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post regarding the same situation where Kusa suggests a number of ways in which refugees can be compensated for their properties and businesses and the exchange of properties between the Palestinians and the Jewish peoples for their right to return.
