"Trial by Fury", a Newspaper Clipping from the Jerusalem Post, December 1954

Published on 12 December 1954, this newspaper clipping from the Jerusalem Post contains an article titled "Trial by Fury" regarding the trial of thirteen Jews accused of espionage in the interest of Israel, which recalls Reichstag Fire trial in Germany during the Hitler regime in terms of the long list of charges and the confidentiality of the trial. The article claims that An-Naṣer used this trial as a leeway to draw attention away from his messy political predicament and his people's rage toward his policies. Attached with the clipping is a formal letter by Elyas Kusa responding to the published article by saying that the trial is not over yet and that it shall be a fair one with the presence of the German, French and British Consuls and the permittance of lawyers to defend the accusers.
