A Response to the "Levantine Insolence" Article, a Letter by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post, November 1954
Addressed by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post on 15 November 1954, this formal letter was written in regards to an editorial in the newspaper titled "Levantine Insolence" which discusses the tension between the Egyptian-French relations that occurred due to broadcasting a call to the Arabs of Algeria to revolt against France via the Voice of the Arabs radio station. In his letter, Kusa responds by differentiating the Arabs from the residents of Uzbekistan indicating that the Arabs are controlled by another country, and adds that the editorial adds more tension on the already tarnished Arab-Israel relations.
