A Letter by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post, August 1957
Addressed by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post on 8 August 1957, this formal letter war written regarding an article he wrote on the situation of Arabs in Israel. In his letter, Kusa points out that he mentions in the article that the Arabs have the right to sell their properties and emigrate the country. He corrects himself by saying that Arabs are not allowed to leave Israel with more than 20 dollars with them and if it exceeds this amount becomes absentee property in accordance to the Absentee Property Law.
