"Permission to Enter the Galilee Area", a Letter by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post, March 1960
Addressed by Elyas Kusa to the Editor of the Jerusalem Post on 9 March 1960, this formal letter responds to a letter asking whether or not Kusa was granted permission from the Military Governor of Western Galilee to enter the Galilee military area. In this letter, to which he replies that he received permanent permission except on three occasions: to participate in a protest in the village of Arraba, to attend the funeral of the mother of the Mayor of Nazareth, and to accompany Boulus Boulus from Biʿna village to the police station at Majd al-Krum.
