"A Memorandum to the United Nation", a Cable by a Group of Arabs in Palestine, 1961
Addressed by a group of Arabs in Palestine to the United Nations in 1960-1961, this cable request the establishment of a commission of inquiry to investigate the situation of Arabs in the occupied Palestinian territories of 1948 as well as the investigation of the killing of 5 teenagers on the Gaza borders by Israeli patrols. The cable is signed by Elyas Kusa, Bolous Farah, Habib Qahwajy, Ṣaleh Baransy, Ṣabry Jeryis, Rashed Husain, Naʿim Mikhwel, Jamil Khury, Jabur Jabur, Manṣur Kardush, Zaky Karmy, Mahmud Srujy, Zaky al-Bahry, Anis Kardush, and Mohammad Miʿary.
