"Palestinian Emigration", Ilyas Nakhla's Address to the Knesset, 1966
Printed in Arabic, this is a transcript of Ilyas Nakhla's address to the Knesset on the emigration of the Palestinians of the 1948 Occupied Territory on July 19, 1966. Nakhla lists the following reasons behind the emigration of Palestinians, land seizures, the exclusion of Palestinians from working at government departments, the discrimination against them, and the negligence of providing good education services for Palestinians. Ilyas Kusa comments in a handwritten note that Nakhla is a member of the anti-Arab Mapai party and questions the sincerity of his address.
