A Letter from Ilyas Kusa to the Chief Editor of Al-Bayan Newspaper, August 1964

Dated August 31, 1964, this printed letter in Arabic was sent from Ilyas Kusa to the Chief Editor of Al-Bayan newspaper regarding Habib Jamaty's speech on the Cause of Palestine and the Palestinians of the 1948 Occupied Territory which he delivered during the African Summit and was later published in the August 28 issue of Al-Bayan. In his speech, Jamaty likened the Palestinians of the 1948 Occupied Territory to Jewish people in Nazi Germany and the native people of South Africa. Kusa denounces Jamaty 's statements and explains the particularity of the Palestinian situation that can't be compared with the situation of Jews in Nazi Germany nor the apartheid in South Africa.
