A Memorandum to the President of the United Nations General Assembly, November 1960
Dated November 10, 1960, this printed memorandum in English was sent from a group of Arab and Palestinian mayors, writers, students, and Public figures in the 1948 Occupied Territory to the President of the United Nations General Assembly in response to Golda Meir's statement on the policy of the Israeli government towards the Palestinians of the 1948 Occupied Territory. The memorandum discusses the following issues, the confiscation of Arab agricultural lands, the displacement of Palestinians, the Israeli military rule, economic oppression, educational failings and shortcomings, and racial discrimination.
