Newspaper Clippings, 1951
Published in 1951, these newspaper clippings include the following: 1. A letter from the residents of Sha'ab village, Acre asking for a school to be opened in their own village; 2. An article titled "Unemployment in the Triangle" on the workers of the villages of Taibe, Kufr Qasem, and Jaljulia complaining about unemployment; 3. An article titled "The Police Assaulting the Women and Children of Kufr Bir'im" on the absentee villagers of Kufr Bir'im being threatened to waive their claim to their lands and being denied from ploughing them. 4. An article titled "Confiscation and Fallowing" on the government confiscating the lands of the villages of 'Ara and Ar'ara and leaving them fallows. 5. A group of clippings that illustrates how the Israeli government discriminates between the Arab farmer and the Israeli one in the 1948 Occupied Palestinian Territory.
