Published on 27 February 1978, this 12-page document is the first issue of Attali'ah Newspaper. Bashir al-Barghuthy is its editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Ṣalah ad-Din Print Shop, Jerusalem. The issue covers the following topics:  1) Transferring the municipalities' financial support to the Jordanian governmental body. 2) The US-Israeli-Egyptian talks. 3) The number of Palestinians who were prosecuted in the Israeli military court and how long each was sentenced. Also, the number of detainees. 4) The Israeli policies implemented for the Judaization of Jerusalem; 5) The Israeli policies against the trade unions in the Occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip; 6) Issues concerned with education, including the protest against the results of the Palestinian General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), the problems within al-Tira Teachers Institute administration, the situation of the Palestinian teachers and their low salaries, among others. 7) The situation in the Gaza Strip. 8) Global and Regional News: The Iranian-Iraqi relations, the Ethiopian-Somali war, and the Soviet support for the Arab revolutions.  9) Some celebrity news in the Arab world.
