"Memo by the Women Sitting-in at the Municipal Hall\Nablus", November 1979
Printed in November 1979, this document shows a memorandum by women sitting-in at the Municipal Hall in Nablus, demanding an end to the Israeli occupation forces' practices against the Palestinian people, including arrests, deportations, suppression, and land confiscations, among others. They expressed their rejection of the arrest and deportation of Bassam ash-Shaka'a, Mayor of Nablus, and their support for his stance against the Camp David Accords between Egypt and the Israeli occupation.
