Printed on 20 November 1979, this document shows a statement by Palestinian women, the majority of whom are from Nablus, appealing to Bassam ash-Shaka'a, Mayor of Nablus, to end his hunger strike protesting the continued Israeli occupation forces' detention, in an effort to safeguard his life.
