Issue 240 of the Attali'ah Weekly, 7 October 1982

Published on 7 October 1982, this document shows issue 240 of the Attali'ah Weekly, whose editor-in-chief was Bashir al-Barghouthi and which was printed at the Salah ad-Din Press in Jerusalem. This issue contained numerous subjects, including the large-scale land confiscation from the farms of the Gaza Strip, a Syrian rejection of withdrawal from Lebanon as per US conditions, negotiations between the US and the Hizb al-Kataeb (the Phalangist Party), the response of the national figures in the Occupied Territory to the King of Jordan's statements in addition to a report on the olive wood industry. It also contained several political, economic and social news items, and dedicated a section to sports, arts and cultural news.
