Issue 251 of the Attali'ah Weekly, 23 December 1982
Published on 23 December 1982, this document shows issue 251 of the Attali'ah Weekly, whose editor-in-chief was Bashir al-Barghouthi and which was printed at the Salah ad-Din Press in Jerusalem. This issue contained numerous subjects, including the identification by Reagan that Hussein, King of Jordan, has an administrative relation with the West Bank, an agreement concluded between Sharon and Hizb al-Kataeb (the Phalangist Party), the imposition by the Israeli Occupation State of restrictions on construction in the Gaza Strip, a trade slump in the Jerusalem and Bethlehem markets in addition to closing the Ramallah Workers Trade Union for two months and arresting its secretary-general. It also contained several political, economic and social news items, and dedicated a section to sports, arts and cultural news.
