"Zahala", ʿĀdel az-Zawaty, a Paper Clipping

Handwritten in Arabic, this paper clipping documents the name of "Zahala", a colony established on the village of "Arab Al-Sawalima" around the middle course of the al-Auja River, sixteen kilometres northeast of Jaffa and set at twenty-five metres above sea level. To the east of it runs the Samara Valley, which flows into the al-Auja River. There are some wells in the northern part of the village, and they provide the people with drinking and irrigation water. The Zionists occupied it in 1948 and expelled its people.
