"Kefar Saqiya", ʿĀdel az-Zawaty, a Paper Clipping

Handwritten in Arabic, this paper clipping documents the name of "Kefar Saqiya", a colony established on the depopulated village of Saqiya, a village set on uneven ground on the Central Coastal Plain with paved roads connecting it to Jaffa, Lod, and other villages. In 1596, the village was related to al-Ramleh but Jews occupied it on 25 April 1948.
