A Photograph of Bashir Sharaf and Arab Calligraphy Students at al-Aqsa Mosque

Taken in 1985, this colour photograph shows Bashir Sharaf accompanied by other students during an Arabic calligraphy course, which included a field visit to al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to learn about the types of calligraphy there. The course was originally held at al-Khadijiyya Girls School in Nablus, managed at the time by principle Amal Kamal.
