"Opposing the Gaza–Jericho Agreement", an Article by Bassam ash-Shakʿa, 1993

Handwritten in Arabic in 1993, this 7-page document shows an article by Bassam ash-Shakʿa entitled "Opposing the Gaza–Jericho Agreement" which features his speech at a festival opposing said Agreement as it serves as the end of a historical phase where the Cause of Palestine was considered the centre of the Arab and international struggle. The article also references the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leaders who played a role in signing the Agreement since the declaration of the State in 1988. The aforementioned Agreement was also opposed for clarifying the primacy of Palestinian-Israeli relations over Palestinian-Arab relations, and for declaring the Self-Rule solution as a means for the implementation of Israeli-American schemes.
