"A Letter of Condemnation", a Memo to the Israeli Minister of Defence and the Nablus Military Governer, 1 April 1980

Printed in Arabic, this document shows a letter of condemnation from notables in Nablus to Ezer Weizman, the then Israeli Minister of Defense, and the commander-in-chief of the West Bank and the military governor in Nablus. Sent on 1 April 1994, the memorandum includes the rejection of the Israeli decision to establish a religious institute in the city of Hebron after the attack on al-Haram al-Ibrahimi of Hebron (Cave of the Patriarchs). The document also includes a set of measures as follows: standing firmly against arbitrary Israeli policies, standing in solidarity with the city of Hebron, condemning the policy of collective punishment, condemning the Israeli attacks on universities and educational institutions, supporting the positions of villages refusing the Israeli electricity and water networks, refusing law amendments, namely the labour law, and boycotting Israeli colonies and colonizers.
