"The Oslo Accords and Cairo Agreement", an Article by Bassam ash-Shakʿa, 1990-1999
Handwritten by Bassam ash-Shakʿa, this six-page article criticises the Oslo Accords and Cairo Agreement and describes them as part of the execution plan of the imperialist project in the Arab region. The article also criticises the denial of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Palestine, the continuous Judaization of al-Quds and offering Jordan with access over al-Quds' sacred sites. Ash-Shakʿa also describes agreement-based elections aim to establish individuals and groups that implement peace agreements and follow the Israeli policies, and have a hand in separating political action from its liberalizing and progressive roots, adding that opposition in the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is weak as it does not have a clear mission.
