“Our People’s Intifada”, a Letter from Bassam ash-Shakʿa, 2000-20005
Addressed by Bassam ash-Shakʿa to the Arab countries and the Palestinian Authority, this one-page letter calls for the importance of establishing a nationalist and militant political action which supports the Second Palestinian Intifada through cancelling the Authority’s ties with the Oslo Accords; having the Arab countries support the establishment of a Palestinian state and the right of its people to make their own decisions; and that Israel withdraws to the 4 June 1967 border.
