Published on 28 May 1995, this one-page newspaper clipping from al-Hadaf, issue no. 1216, includes a discussion with the leader of the Palestinian opposition of the Oslo Accords through the Palestinian Assembly in the occupied territories, Bassam ash-Shakaa, led by Fayez as-Sahly. Ash-Shakaa states that the Oslo Accords represent a leeway for the Zionist occupation to achieve its goals in spreading the occupation, confiscating and Judaizing al-Quds (Jerusalem) and protecting Israeli borders, all in cooperation between the Palestinian police and the Israeli soldiers. Ash-Shakaa also mentions the struggle of the Palestinian people living under the Israeli self-rule policy.
