The six hundred and ninety-third issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on June 13, 1991. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: 1. More Israeli attempts to appoint the heads of municipal councils in Palestinian villages and cities. 2. A news report headlined “The Palestinian Village of Kafr Qaddum Carries On despite the Lack of Services and the Attacks of Vicious Neighbours.” 3. A statement issued by the General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank. 4. The Palestinian Medical Relief Society organizes a preventive health day at Al-Ram Kindergarten. 5. The expansion of Ma'ale Amos, a settlement to the southeast of Bethlehem built on the lands of Kisan and Tuqu'. 6. The Intifada Shuhadaʾ Bloc wins the student council elections at Bethlehem University. 7. Ramallah Friends Schools host a new educational conference. 8. Israeli Occupation Authorities double their efforts to prosecute wanted Palestinians. 9. The arrest of a worker from Al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya with two conflicting accounts of the reason behind the arrest. 10. The bus of the Society of Inʾash El-Usra is held for the sixth time. 11.
