A Video of a Student Theatrical Performance as Part of a Project for Training Teachers at UNRWA Schools in the West Bank in Cooperation with ASHTAR Theatre and Yes Theatre

This video clip documents a theatrical performance titled, "O, Elephant, King of the Times", by school students as part of a theatre competition. The competition is part of a project for training 63 female and male teachers from 41 UNRWA schools in refugee camps around the West Bank in drama and methods in creating school plays. The teachers came out with 42 theatrical performances with the participation of 613 female and male students and shared their work at a school theatre festival held in five governorates in the West Bank.   Project Officer: Iman Awn. Project Coordinator: Emile Saba. Trainers: Muhammad Eid, Munira Zuraiqy, Raed al-Isa, Muhammad at-Tity, Ihab Zahda and Raed ash-Shuyukhy. Judges: Edward Muallem, Raed ash-Shuyukhy, Iman Awn, Dr Hassan Ramadan, Adel Zawawy, Dirgham abd al-Aziz, Tareq ash-Shaykh, and Abir Shawar.
