A Video Clipping Documenting the Performance of "Shaheeds are Coming Back" Play, Produced by Ashtar Theatre 1996

A video clipping documents the performance of [Shaheeds are Coming Back], a play produced by Ashtar Theatre in 1996. Designed by Majed al-Zubaidy and directed and adapted by Sameh Hijazy from Taher Wattar's story, "ash-Shuhadaʾ yaʿudun min al-mawt hatha al-usbuʿ" (Shaheeds are Coming Back this Week), the play featured a Palestinian cast, including Edward Mu'allem, Fady Abdulwahab, Iman 'Aoun, and Raʾed al-ʿEssa. This production marked the first show featuring the graduates of Ashtar drama training programme. Aoun received the Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theatre best actor award for her part in the play.
