The seven hundred and seventy-sixth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on January 14, 1993. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: - The masses in Jenin join the funeral procession of the shaheed Iyad Sammar. The closure of a market and a mosque in Qalqilya after several stabbing attempts. American aircrafts use Gulf military bases. - Israeli manoeuvres to buy time and prevent the imposition of sanctions on Israel. - Israel tests the waters to figure out the reasons behind the Palestinian delegationʾs refusal to meet with Rabin. - Leviʾs recommendations regarding ill prisoners are still on hold. - The Israeli Supreme Court dismisses a request by Israeli setters to close an Arab school. - The Israeli State Comptroller: The Labor party and Shas bought their way into power. - Netanyahu: Calls with Syria regarding the withdrawal from the Occupied Golan Heights. - A decrease in the percentage of Israelis who support the talks with the Palestine Liberation Organisation. - The Palestinian novelist Yahya Yakhlif: Our literary associations are akin to separate islands.
