The eight hundred and sixteenth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on November 4, 1993. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 12-page issue covers the following: - The Israel Electric Corporation mounts pressure by cutting off the electricity of 300 thousand Palestinians in Gaza. - Israelʾs understanding of the Declaration of Principles entails a civil administration under the control of the Israeli Occupation Army in the Gaza Strip. - A Palestinian High Commission in Tunisia to investigate the espionage scandal. - Three houses demolished and 158 dunams of land seized in just one month. - Disappointment grips the leadership of the Israeli Labor Party following the election results. - A total Arab boycott in East Jerusalem of the West Jerusalem municipal elections. - An article penned by Ghassan al-Khatib entitled “The Challenges Facing the Palestinian Leadership during the Interim Period”. - The biggest land broker in the northern West Bank gets killed. - The United States will cover the expenses spent by Israel on the peace process. - The union between the Popular Front and the Democratic Front will not last long. - The Algerian president: Open dialogue is the only solution to overcome Algeriaʾs current crisis. - A photograph from inside Telmond Prison for women and children: The newly released mother Amina states that there are many sick cases that require immediate release. - Al-Najjab: The Palestinian leadership was adamant on not making the issues of Palestinian prisoners and the blockade of al-Quds (Jerusalem) up for discussion. - Abu Mahir commends the positions adopted by the Palestinian Peopleʾs Party.
