The eight hundred and forty-seventh issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on June 15, 1994. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 20-page issue covers the following: 1. Backlash against the demolition scheme in al-Quds (Jerusalem). 2. The curfew in Hebron makes access to treatment difficult and costs the economy major losses. 3. The Head of the Engineersʾ Union in the West Bank states to Attaliʾah: “Those who were able to persevere and build under the occupation are more than capable to build under the Palestinian Authority”. 4. The families of deportees in Gaza continue their protests. 5. The National Democratic Institute concludes a series of plenary meetings in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. 6. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights holds a symposium on democracy and human rights in Palestinian society. 12. Dr Maher Charif writes about Islam and Pan-Arabism in the writings of Abd al-Rahman al-Kawakibi. 13. The phenomenon of returned cheques in Nablus spreads. 14. Israel stalls in giving out visitation and work permits to Gazans. 15. 600 thousand dollars in compensation for the workers of Adriett Shimron factory. 16. An article on the situation in Gaza after the signing of the Declaration of Principles. 17. A delegation from the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality visits the Gaza Strip to offer congratulations. 18. The Palestinian Medical Relief Society in Rafah holds a symposium on respiratory diseases. 19.
